Small group journeys and private trips to incredible wilderness destinations led by expert guides

Conan Dumenil
Naturalist, Educator and Visionary
Conan's tryst with nature and education started about 20 years ago. His first job took him to the Himalayan foothills where he worked and trained as a naturalist at an acclaimed wildlife lodge in Corbett National Park. In addition to guiding trips and teaching visitors about nature, he assisted television crews on nature documentaries, set up mobile camps, trekked, fished, rafted and learnt a bunch of outdoor skills. Helping people experience the wilderness was pivotal and epiphanic as not only did it make him question how natural sciences were being taught in schools but also that people needed to be 're-connected' to nature. Guiding nature trips through these years, he's been privileged to see the spectacular, network with inspiring people and have cultural immersions like no other. His 'work' has allowed him to document animals, bird, reptiles and insects and work on snake conservation and snakebite mitigation. Today he continues to plan, execute and lead custom wildlife trips across India, Nepal and Bhutan and develop and organize experiential learning programs for children.

Faiza Mookerjee
Naturalist, Tree and Food Enthusiast
Faiza grew up in the bustling capital city of New Delhi although her roots are from West Bengal. Being the daughter of a wildlife conservationist and travel writer, her love for the natural world began at a very young age. She started her career in the tourism world as a SCUBA divemaster in the Andamans.
Over time Faiza realized what she truly enjoyed was sharing her love for the natural world with others and felt this was a great tool in educating people and bringing about a closer connection to nature. She managed a wildlife lodge in the foothills of the Himalayas for two years and thereafter has worked in the travel industry with companies like RARE India and andBeyond curating and guiding wildlife tours. She now spends her time creating enriching journeys throughout the country with a focus on walking experiences in lesser known parts.
In her spare time Faiza enjoys exploring new kinds of cuisine and enjoys cooking. She has a soft spot for trees and plants and has a wealth of knowledge on this subject. Her personal travel plans generally revolve around food and wildlife.

Surya Ramachandran
Photographer, Author, Travel Planner
Originally an engineer from southern India, Surya pursued his passion into the wild. His jungle journey commenced in the forests of Satpura where he grew as a naturalist for the park before moving to Kanha 5 years later. He co-authored the guide book to Central India during his time here before moving to other landscapes. For the next seven years his interests and projects led him to the high mountains of the trans-Himalaya - the world of snow leopards, the deserts of the Thar and into the rainforests of Western Ghats. His time in southern India led to him co-author his second comprehensive field guide to the wildlife of the region. Surya's expertise outside the subcontinent has taken him guiding tours to Africa, South America and the island of Borneo.
Irrespective of the landscape, the thing Surya enjoys the most is the idea of guiding, explaining and documenting the little secrets of the jungle through his photography. His work in this regard earned him the prestigious TOFT award in the year 2016.
He is also the ambassador for Swarovski Optik Birding for the Indian region.
